Centrifugal fan-HPB-F 105/110HZ

Application

The fan is designed for transport systems of non-aggressive and non-explosive gases without impurities. Typical applications are:

  • pneumatic conveying,
  • blowing in drying systems (e.g. graphic machines and plastics processing,
  • Air supply systems for combustion/heat treatment (e.g. melting furnaces).

Construction

  • High pressure centrifugal fan with direct drive,
  • riveted impeller made of aluminium sheet, with type B blades, dynamically balanced to ISO 1940-1,
  • cast aluminium housing,
  • base welded from steel sheet,
  • fan painted in grey RAL7042 (motor in manufacturer’s color)
  • maximum temperature of pumped medium 80°C,
  • motor ambient temperature from -20°C to +40°C,
  • standard shape LG270.

Motor

  • asynchronous, three phase, 230/400V, 105/110Hz or 400V, 110Hz (depending on motor power),
  • insulation class F,
  • protection degree IP55,
  • equipped with thermal protection PTC,
  • frequency converter required for proper fan operation,
  • equipped with one EMC gland = power supply, + one M16 gland for PTC sensor

Special designs

  • optional configuration LG / RD figure
  • painted in a color other than the standard one,
  • Impeller made of galvanized steel sheet,
  • Impeller made of stainless steel sheet 1.4301,
  • impeller made of stainless steel sheet 1.4404,
  • motor with a different IP degree of protection,
  • motor with sensors or additional cooling.

MOTOR TRANSDUCER

The converter supplying the motor must have the following classification U (f):
where: U – rated voltage of the motor operation; f – frequency 105/110Hz

If the recommendations are not followed, the motor current increases disproportionately and the drive motor does not reach the rated speed. Under no circumstances should the frequency (rotational speed) be set higher than the 100Hz frequency stated on the nameplate, because the motor may be overloaded or the fan damaged due to too high speed. The so-called boost, as this causes the drive motor to heat up too much. In order to protect the drive motor, a temperature sensor must be connected to the corresponding inputs of the converter.
